Our story, our passion, our community

Discover the heart behind Danebury Netball Club. Learn about our journey, our commitment to inclusivity, and what makes us a unique place for netball lovers in Hampshire.

Our journey began with a shared passion

Danebury Netball Club was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to create a netball community where everyone belongs. A group of passionate individuals in Hampshire came together, envisioning a club that welcomed newcomers, youngsters, 'back to netballers', and those aspiring to play in a league. We wanted to cultivate a safe space where learning and making mistakes were embraced, where friendships flourished, and where every member felt valued for who they are, both on and off the court. As a non-profit club, our sole aim is to share the joy and passion for netball with all.

Inclusivity, passion, and memorable moments

What makes Danebury Netball Club truly special is our commitment to inclusivity, passion, and drive for the sport. We provide a safe environment for everyone to embark on their unique netball journey. From the moment you join, you'll experience a warm welcome, knowing that an exciting path lies ahead, filled with memorable moments, personal growth, and lasting friendships. We believe netball is more than just a game; it's a chance to connect, learn, and thrive together.

Netball for every age and ability

Danebury Netball Club is for everyone who shares a love for the game. Our squad is thoughtfully divided into three groups: one for primary school children, a second for secondary school students, and a third for individuals aged 14 and upwards. While we have an affiliated team that trains for league play, we also warmly welcome those who wish to join our training sessions purely for enjoyment and fitness, without the commitment of league competition. We're here to provide enjoyable netball opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.

"At Danebury Netball Club, our ethos is simple: respect, belong, and ignite."
